All entries are online at www.equestriansentries.co.nz NZPCA approved safety helmets must be worn at all times. Event will be run under NZPCA rules. No dogs allowed on the grounds – you will be told to leave. Parking will be in the racecourse grounds for all competitors. Please remove all rubbish off the grounds. Silver Pines Pony Club takes no responsibility for loss or damage for you, your equipment or horse. Silver Pine Pony Club reserves the right to make changes to the program.
Team Rules
Teams Test - $100.00 per team (Team riders must ride both tests in their age group) Class 1 – DNZ 0B – 14 and under - Caller Allowed Class 2 – DNZ 1B – 14 and under - Caller Allowed Class 3 – DNZ 0B – 15 and over – Caller Allowed Class 4 – DNZ 1B – 15 and over – Caller Allowed Individual Rider - $25 If your branch cannot make up a team riders may ride as an individual.
This event is open to all members of Northland Area branches. Teams will consist of four riders. The top three scores for each test will count towards a team total. There will be individual placings for each test. These will be in two groups 14 & under and 15 & over. Riders must be financial members of pony club and have attended 5 rallies in the last 12 months, with 3 of them on the horse they are competing on.
Each team must provide the name and contact details of a person who is available to help on the day eg. writer, gate steward .
Each rider will ride both tests. Tests will be in a 60x20m arena. You may ride as an individual for your branch pony club if you are unable to make a team of 3-4. Pony Club uniform to be worn – no jackets. There will be a prize for the best-turned out team. Teams must supply plate for judges.
Show Jumping / Cross Country Practice 10am start $25 per horse Maximum of 2 cross country rounds and 3 show jumping rounds. Long sleeved shirts and arm bands must be worn at all times, Back protectors must be worn on XC. 1 SJ Ring –starting at 50cm (Liverpool, triple bar etc. will be in use when suitable)
