Attendance for all events is required for omnium scoring. Point scoring is provided below and available at the race. Wheel pit will be available, wheels in/wheels out. Points Race - Sprints will be held every 5 laps, with 5, 3, 2, and 1 point(s) being awarded to the top four finishers in each sprint. Double points at mid-point and final sprint of each race. Omnium Point Scoring - Points will be awarded for final placing in each event, with 5, 3, 2 points awarded to the top three finishers in each race. 1 participation point will be awarded to all other finishers. * Junior Women will race in their respective age group but will be picked separately. Junior 9/10 and 11/12 will race together but will be picked separately. Similarly, the JM 15/16 and 17/18 Cat 1-4 race together but are picked separately. ** These will be mentored events with post-race discussion. Attendance at the post-race discussion makes these eligible for TWO points towards a Mens Cat 4 or Womens Cat 3 upgrade. Fields may be split or combined depending on field sizes. If you are not a USA Cycling license holder you will need to purchase a one-day license for the event. Novice Cat 5 Junior Men and Cat 4 Junior Women riders are encouraged to attend the Beginning Racer Program skills session earlier in the morning for no additional charge. BRP begins at 7:30 AM. Juniors who arrive early can participate in the practice race at 8:30 AM as a warmup. Cost: $20 entry. Day of registration opens at 7:00 AM. Each category is limited to 30 riders.
