Why become a coach?

What training is provided?
New coaches attend a half-day training workshop, delivered by our partner Beyond Now. This will introduce you to Teach First and what it means to be a Teach First coach. You’ll learn coaching techniques and be given expert advice on how to manage your coaching relationship. And your training doesn’t stop there, with Teach First employees on hand to support you every step of the way.
What is the time commitment?
In addition to the half-day training, coaches are required to meet with their participant a minimum of four times during the year, with further contact to be agreed by both parties.
Who can become a Teach First coach?
