The cross-sectional and longitudinal TEM images in (B) show crystalline boundaries in the center of AgNW which is surrounded by PVP chains.

Figure S2. FT-IR spectra of neat PVP and AgNW powder. AgNW power was obtained by drying the AgNW aqueous suspension. The shifts of bands associated with C-H and C=O stretching vibrations support the presence of specific interactions between watersoluble PVP and AgNW.
