Product Packaging Lithonia Lighting has developed a consistent, uniform product-packaging approach that covers unit, multiple, and component packaging. This system allows customers to order products in the packaging configuration of their choice by utilizing packaging nomenclature designations or SCC14 packaging indicators. Our packaging designations are defined below, along with examples illustrating how to utilize these designations when ordering. When a packaging configuration is not designated by the customer, Lithonia will ship based upon systematic packaging optimization rules. Please note: Packaging options are not available on all products.
Unit Packaging PBBj Blank— No designation is required for a product that is only packaged in a unit configuration. Example:

Product is only packaged one item per carton; therefore, 10 cartons will be shipped.
Unit Pack — Used to request product packaged in a quantity of one consumer unit per carton. Only needed when alternate packaging designations exist.

Product is packaged in several configurations, but has been ordered as 12 individually cartoned/labeled items.
Multiple Packaging • j| • Master Pack — Used to request more than one consumer unit packaged in an intermediate shipping con*•** tainer. Consumer units packaged in a Master Pack configuration are individually labeled and/or packaged and may or may not be shipped as individual units. As shown on the appropriate catalog pages, the number following the M designates the fixed quantity of consumer units within the Master Pack. Master Packs can be ordered only in an appropriate quantity multiple. Example:

Packaging will consist of six individually labeled products within an intermediate CB1 M6 shipping container. A quantity of four containers will be shipped.
•!• Job Pack— Used to request bulk shipment of a particular consumer unit. Consumer units within a job pack ™~' are not intended to be broken apart and resold, or reshipped as individual units. Example:

Packaging will consist of four products bulk shipped within one shipping container. A16 J4 A quantity of four containers will be shipped.
