Edging Fillet Edging Fillet An adhesive fillet designed to seal and protect the exposed tile edge and minimise the trip hazard in transition from tile to substrate. Available as epoxy, polyurethane or acrylic (Section 12 Approved). Standard edge fillet width is from 10mm ‐ 25mm, to alleviate any larger substrate cambers the size of the fillet can be increased up to 75mm. · · · ·

Surface Mounted Tactile Paving Section 12 ‐ (Off Street) Platform Edge Warning Surface Visul Systems Research & Development department has developed a methyl methacrylate (MMA) tactile system which has been specially formulated to with stand heavy foot traffic as well as meet high levels of wear impact and slip resistance. The system has been extensively tested and proven to meet all of the relevant safety requirements as detailed in the London Underground Limited Standards and Building Regulations (BS 476 parts 6 and 7) in compliance with Section 12 Fire Precautions Act 1971. ·

Surface Mounted Tactile Paving Blister Surface for Pedestrian Crossings Visul Systems has developed a co‐extruded tactile surface system which enables transport authorities and service providers to comply fully with the Disability Discrimination Act. Segregated Shared Cycle Track / Footway Surface and Central Delineator Strip The cycle track warning surface is used on shared cycle ways and footpath's. The surface is used wherever the shared route begins/ends or crosses a carriageway. The tile ‘ribs’ are used by the visually impaired to identify the correct side of the route to enter, avoiding collisions with cyclists. The warning surface also conveys that shared route is ending or crossing a carriageway.

Guidance Path Surface The purpose of the guidance path surface is to guide visually impaired people along a route when traditional cues, such as property line or kerb edge, are not available. It can also be used to guide people around obstacles , for example street furniture in a pedestrian area. The surface has been designed so that people can be guided along the route either by walking on the tactile surface or by maintaining contact with a long cane.
