SOWING AND GROWING

Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in pots or trays in a greenhouse at 15-20°C (60-68°F) using a quality, finely sieved, moist compost. Cover the seed with 3mm (1⁄8") sieved compost (Germination 10-14 days). Transplant seedlings 5cm (2") apart in trays and grow on. Acclimatise before planting out 18cm (7") apart after danger of frost has passed. Alternatively sow direct in a sunny position 6mm (1⁄4") deep and cover with soil. Thin resulting seedlings gradually to 18cm (7") apart.

HELPFUL HINT

Planting companion - try with white Lobelia. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place.
