Newsletter January 2018 Providing New Bedding, Caring and Love to Children
Sweet Dream wishes you each a wonderful New Year! Sweet Dream is looking forward to what blessings this new year will bring to many, many children in need! We are so thankful for all of youvolunteers, donors, quilt makers, baby hat makers, wooden toy makers, shoppers, packers, readers, those that share with friends and family about Sweet Dream, families, singles, scouts, church groups, school clubs, Kiwanis clubs, Optimist clubs, sororities,
businesses, social clubs, our board of directors - you all are what make Sweet Dream happen! Thank you for your generous and caring hearts towards the children that we serve!!! May 2018 be a year filled with hope and comfort for each child we serve!
CHFA'S "LIKE IT FORWARD" Campaign was so successful because of all of you responding and sharing on Facebook! CHFA was so generous to Sweet Dream the campaign raised $4,042.00! What a boost -- we are able to complete paying for the "You Are Awesome" books and purchase much needed beautiful bedding!! CHFA also sponsored a "Packing Event" at their office, paid for half the bedding and packed 50 Sweet Dream Bags. "Miles", Denver Bronco's mascot, was there and helped pack the Bronco Sweet Dream Bags!! Such fun. A BIG THANK YOU to CHFA for donating a total of $5,272.00 to
Sweet Dream. Sweet Dream was blessed to be the charity chosen by CHFA!! Thank you! Thank you!
Last Quarter of 2017 VERY BUSY!! October 2017:
259 children gifted
November 2017: 207 children gifted December 2017: 210 children gifted Total for the 3 months: 676 Sweet Dream Bags Approx. cost: 676 X $50 = $33,800.00 worth of new bedding given in 3 months
