Soccer Clubs cost $2000.
Not Solano United! - With fundraising you can anticipate your costs for a season to range from $300 to $500 per player (This includes 2 uniforms and league fees).
You’re always traveling.
There are 5 home games at Octo Soccer Complex & 5 travel games. Away or travel games are usually no farther than a 1or 2 hr drive.
Weekends will be taken over by tournaments.
Depending on the coach and team but a general rule of thumb is 3-5 tournaments per year.
Don’t Competitive teams practice every night of the week?
Solano United teams normally practice twice a week for about 1.5 - 2 hrs per practice depending on the coaches preference.
Why not just stay in the Recreational league?
If your child is dominating the competition and is not being challenged in games - then it is time.
Soccer-is-Soccer at any level ...right ?
Not true, “Competitive” play offers a high level of challenging play, player development and allows for visibility & scouting opportunities for those players with a desire to play at the collegiate level.
