Taking a Photo Participant Guide: Android

When it comes to the world of digital, there’s so much you may

already know. But, for the things you don’t know, a Mentor Up volunteer is ready and willing to show you. This guide will lead you through the process of taking a photo on your Android Phone. Photos are a great way to record and keep memories.

STEP 1:

Taking a Photo

Locate the camera app Tap the camera to open it

Tap the screen to take a picture OR Tap the shutter icon at the bottom of the screen

Point your device at the subject. View the picture you want to take through your screen

To take a selfie, tap on the icon

*This will depend on your device 1

STEP 2:

Viewing Pictures

Locate the Gallery icon on your phone/tablet Tap the icon to open

Swipe from right to left to view ALL pictures

STEP 3:

Editing a Picture Locate the camera app Tap the camera to open it

Tap on the Pencil Icon When finished tap the check mark

Sharing a Picture

Locate the picture you want to share

Tap the icon

Choose how you want to share your picture: -Facebook -Email -Etc
