Directions

There ar e a number of diff erent approaches to Prenton, but f rom Chester, the most straightf orward v ehicular route is to trav el in a north westerly direction along the M53 motorway taking the exit at Junction 3. At this point f ollow signs f or the A552 (Prenton & Oxton) alon g the Woodchurch Road. Continue along the Woodchurch Road f or some distance until reaching the traff ic light controlled crossroads adjacent to the “Half way House” public house. Turn lef t at this point and continue along what is Holm Lane, but ev entually continues as Talbot Road, and Bidston Road (B5151). Continue along the B5151 until the crossroads with Upton Road A5027 turning lef t at this point, and continuing f or a f urther distance along the A5027 until the roundabout. Take rd 3 exit into Vy ner Road North. Proceed along Vy ner Road North until the aspect opens out on each side of the road onto the Bidston Hill Conserv ation Area. Oak Tree House will then be observ ed on the right hand side.
