Starting with the 2013 model year, Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups (OEM box) feature a capless fuel fill. This capless fuel fill system does not work when installing most light truck beds. When installing a Hillsboro truck bed on a 2013+ RAM (Dodge) pickup box removal application, the OEM capless fuel filler neck must be replaced. A fuel fill kit is available from Ram, but the cost is excessive. Hillsboro part number 233727 is available to replace the OEM capless fuel filler neck for diesel applications.
