Torbay Domestic Abuse Service (TDAS) provides support for men, women and children who need advice and protection from domestic abuse. We offer a wide range of help, including support and confidential advice and crisis accommodation. You have the right to feel safe.
Torbay Domestic Abuse Service (TDAS) Domestic abuse is the physical, financial, emotional or sexual abuse of one person by another, usually within an intimate relationship or families. With no boundaries, it occurs irrespective of class, age, race, cultural or religious background, ability or sexuality.
n Safety planning and assessments n Support through the criminal justice system and obtaining legal orders n Signposting to other agencies n Support to find long term accommodation n Floating support
How we can support you or someone you know Whether you are thinking of leaving an abusive relationship, wishing to stay or have already ended it, TDAS can provide you with advice and support in many ways, including:
n Financial and benefits advice Our service allows you to talk in confidence about your feelings and concerns and our specially trained and highly experienced staff provide you with advice, options and tell you about the support we can offer.
n One-to-one emotional and practical n n n support n Advocacy n Refuge and safe house accommodation
