Green Detox Smoothie Serves 2

Ingredients         

2 Kale lettuce leaves, organic 2 Collard Green leaves, organic ½ lemon with seeds removed (If you have a heavy duty blender, you can throw lemons in with rind still on if the lemon is organic.) 1 tsp. sea salt or Celtic sea salt 2 Tbsp. soaked flax seeds or 1 Tbsp. ground flax seeds 1 dash cayenne pepper (optional) 1 banana ½ apple, organic 12 - 14 oz. water

Directions 1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Tips  Add 3-4 ice cubes for a cold drink and substitute mango for apple.
  Soak
flax seeds overnight by placing in small glass bowl and covering with water. Seeds will soak up water. Prepare enough soaked flax seeds for the week. They will remain fresh in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.  If
you are using a Vita Mix or another industrial blender, you will not need to removed spines and stems from Kale or Collard Greens. If you are
using a kitchen blender, you may need to remove the spines and stems in
