TEACHERS & STUDENTS! Back by popular demand, the Newspapers in Education program is proud to bring you Gridiron Geography 2011! Teachers, sign up today to receive this free educational program in your classroom. Utilizing the Big 12 football games as a guide, your students will learn weekly fun facts and trivia about U.S. geography. The program will contain a 16-page student supplement, delivered to your school and weekly trivia questions printed in The Oklahoman from September 2 to December 2. The Gridiron Geography program is targeted to grades 4 through 8 and includes: • Delivery of one classroom set (25 copies) of the printed Gridiron Geography student supplement the week of August 29.
• Digital delivery of The Oklahoman for 14 weeks on the days the weekly trivia questions are published.
• Downloadable teacher’s guide with PASS Standards available at http://nie.newsok.com. Registration form must be received by August 28, 2011.
