Team Covenant We are common people called to extraordinary work for the kingdom of God. As Servants of Jesus Christ, we embrace His purpose and desire to serve together, to live in community with other co-laborers in the faith, and to have fun in our efforts. Together, we long to work in an inspired environment where our efforts are bound together for the sake of His Kingdom. The Holy Bible is our foundation. We believe it is the written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and is the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We believe in one eternal God, Creator, and Lord of the world--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ to be the one and only Savior, who died on the cross to pay for our sins and was resurrected on the third day as proof of God’s triumph over sin and death. WE EMBRACE A GOD-SIZED VISION We walk by faith alone, relying on the daily provision of God and understanding that we will risk loss of ourselves, our preferences, our desires, and our resources to pursue that which God has placed before us. We will take risks and sometimes make mistakes with bold faith, embracing the need to be flexible, nimble, and diligent to meet needs.
WE ARE DETERMINED TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS People matter deeply to God. We will work as Sons and Daughters of Christ– bound together as peacemakers bringing Christian love and reconciliation to those we serve, work with, and meet in daily life. We will never let the demands of the tasks take priority over connecting with our clients or co-laborers in the faith. We are called to help others through being the hands and feet of Christ; educating, equipping, and training as needs arise. More than anything else, we will act to provide hope for the hopeless through Jesus Christ.
WE CHOOSE TO SERVE AND WALK TOGETHER We will serve together, actively supporting each other in work, faith, prayer, and sharing the burden of service. We will actively resolve conflicts as peacemakers, not adversaries. Teamwork matters. We choose to be good communicators in all situations and use technology to our benefit, not as a substitute for time together in fellowship. We will disciple each other, submit to one another, laugh together, and care for each other.
WE WILL SERVE WITH HUMILITY, INTEGRITY, EXCELLENCE, AND WISDOM We are the beneficiaries of the grace of God. We will seek to provide for unmet needs, partnering with others when possible, and striving not to duplicate efforts. We will use our resources wisely not to create dependency, but rather to help in sustainable ways which empower those we serve. We will serve with excellence striving to use our time, talents and gifts to His glory.
