DODGE VIOLENCE Dodgeball Challenge RULES, REGULATIONS & INSTRUCTIONS • • • • • • • • • • • •
The tournament will be played according to the National Amateur Dodgeball Association rules. Rules can be found at www.dodgeballusa.net. Only athletic footwear is allowed on the courts. The tournament will be limited to sixteen (16) teams per age bracket. Teams will participate on a first come, first play basis. Teams may have up to eight (8) members. Six (6) players per team are allowed during a match. Teams must be co-ed by at least two (2) members. Registration fee per team is detailed in event package. Tournament will proceed in two brackets after the first match concludes. Each team will play at least two (2) matches. Matching uniforms are strongly encouraged (the more creative the better!). Each team member must sign the Waiver and Release of Claims and Assumption of Risk form prior to the start of the tournament. Winning team will receive:

Bragging rights for one-year (winner posted on the website). One set of regulation dodgeballs; six (6) dodgeballs total. The DODGE VIOLENCE Dodgeball Challenge trophy for display in their institution.
Please remember to bring your cheering section! Family, friends, colleagues, and arch enemies are welcome and encouraged to attend! Bandages and Advil will be available at the tournament. DODGE VIOLENCE Dodgeball Challenge WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK *To be signed by each team member prior to start of tournament* Please read this information carefully and be aware that in signing up and participating in this program/activity, you will be expressly assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, damages or loss which you might sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with and associated with this program/activity. I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury to participants in this program, and I voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages or loss, regardless of the severity, that I may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with this program/activity. I further agree to waive and relinquish all claims I may have as a result of participating in this program/activity against Detroit Cristo Rey High School & 2400 Athletics, including their officials, agents, volunteers, employees, and sponsors.
