Team Sponsor Incentive Program Dear League Members, We appreciate all your dedication, support, and the time you have given to the league. This league would not be successful without the volunteers, sponsorships, and donations. There are many different costs that contribute to having a successful season and every sponsorship helps with those operating costs. Menifee Pony's sponsorship program has been designed to make it beneficial for everyone. We are requesting that each team brings in a minimum $300 sponsorship. Once the team has met the $300 goal, anything over that amount will be split 50/50 between the league and team. For example, if a team has a $1000 sponsorship the first $300 will go to the league for operating expenses. The remaining $700 will be split between the league and the team, $350 each. This gives the team the opportunity to use the $350 to spend on their team for team related expenses. This would make for an awesome team party, team jackets, etc. We will be keeping track of all donations by team. You can contact me anytime to see how much is in your teams account. Note that expenses must be paid for first and then receipts must be turned in to the league for reimbursement to be possible. Non-profit rules and regulations also limit the types of expense we're allowed to pay for so please check with us in advance if unsure. Please encourage all of your parents to reach out to employers, friends, and local businesses. This is a great incentive for the parents and players and we want to see each team reach their goal! We have attached a sponsorship request letter as well that will help in asking for donations. If you would like more copies please contact, [email protected].
