TEMPLE UNIVERSITY COLLEGIATE OPEN Temple University's Thirty-seventh Annual Collegiate Open will be a six-weapon event open to all fulltime, matriculated, undergraduate students. Women's Foil, Women’s Epee and Women's Sabre will compete on Saturday, October 29th, 2016. Men's Epee, Men’s Foil and Men's Sabre will be held on Sunday, October 30th, 2016. Entries will be $40.00 per fencer per event. All entries must be in writing and received by October 12th, 2016. Late entries will be accepted (providing there is space available) by phone and email up until October 26th, 2016, but a $20.00 late fee will be charged per fencer. DATES:

FORMAT: Preliminary pools with 75-80% promotion. Promoted fencers will have a second round of pools with 100% promotion to direct elimination. Eliminated fencers will have a consolation pool round.

ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION 1.
Parking will be available in the indoor lot behind the Liacouras Center. The entrance is on 15th Street. There will be a parking attendant on duty 24 hours both Saturday and Sunday. There is a $17 parking fee. Please park in the garage after you drop off your fencers. Let us know if you will need bus parking.
2.
Lockers will be available, but each fencer must bring their own lock and towel. Fencers should not bring any valuables since Temple University will not be responsible for any loss of property.
3.
Teams should provide their own Training Supplies. Temple Trainers will be available throughout the tournament for assistance.
4.
Equipment check will be held before each event. Masks, sabre gloves, and electrical jackets will be checked.
5.
All USFA rules (including the new Sabre rules) will be in effect and strictly enforced.
6.
Fencing Equipment Companies will have a booth at the site for equipment purchases.
7.
There are several fast food restaurants within walking distance of the gym.
