Tennessee Housing Trust Fund: Housing the Hard To Serve About the Tennessee Housing Trust Fund The purpose of the Tennessee Housing Trust Fund (THTF) is to serve the housing needs of low- and very lowincome, elderly and special needs Tennesseans. Funds, provided through Tennessee Housing Development Agency are awarded to nonprofit organizations, cities, counties, Development Districts, Public Housing Authorities, and other departments of State government.

Apply for the Tennessee Housing Trust Fund today! THDA is now seeking creative and innovative rental housing development proposals for the 2017 Fall Round of Competitive Grants under the THTF. The maximum grant amount is $500,000 and there is no grant minimum. Extra points are given for projects providing housing for ex-offenders and youth transitioning from foster care.
