TENNISlINK tennislink TennisLink has many benefits for both the JTT League Coordinators, Coaches and the players. The JTT League Coordinator can use TennisLink to collect program fees, create and publish team schedules, maintain a database of players, and access players looking for teams. Team standings are adjusted instantly after match scores are recorded. TennisLink replaces paperwork with a web-based application that is accessible to players and captains, as well as the coordinators. For players, seeing themselves on TennisLink provides them with a sense of participating in a national program. Players also can access match results from any team or player in their league. A variety of reports are also available online, such as player counts, match summaries, and player records. TennisLink offers the League Coordinator the flexibility of registering players on multiple teams and teams and adding teams to flights, in order to organize the league. League Coordinators must set up their leagues, including match schedules, on TennisLink Team Tennis. As the programs get underway and match results are recorded, team standings are calculated automatically. Local match results should be recorded within one week of the date of the match. All Championships must use the “Championship” module of TennisLink. Team members can access their records and their team standings at any time. The web address is: http://teamtennis.usta.com or http://www.usta.com, then click Tennislink and then Team Tennis League coordinators, team captains, or parents or players can register in TennisLink for their JTT team. In addition to the JTT program fee, each player will incur a small user-fee at the time of registration on TennisLink, payable online with a credit card. The league coordinator may choose to collect any league fees online at that time or in-person. If players are not USTA members, they can join the USTA at time of registration. A one-year junior membership is $19. Players participating in an official USTA Jr. Team Tennis program must have a valid USTA membership ($19 annual fee) through the length of the league season. Each coach/captain will select an official team uniform color, at a reduced rate ($13). These JTT players will be eligible for advancement through the Championship Series. All TennisLink transactions are subject to an additional per-player user fee. For non-official, „locally branded‟ team tennis, players who are not USTA members will incur a $2 „nonmember‟ fee, and will not have the option to purchase a team uniform. These players will not be playing „official‟ USTA JTT, they will are actually playing „locally branded‟ team tennis and will not be eligible for advancement through the Championship Series. Coaches/captains of these „non-member‟ teams will be charged a one-time annual $50 [$54.25] TennisLink user fee. All TennisLink transactions are subject to an additional per-player user fee.

Creating a team Select „Create New Team‟
Select „Missouri Valley‟ from the drop-down and click on „Go‟
Select „Jr‟ next to the name of your program.
Enter team information. Check your contact info for accuracy. If incorrect and you sign in with a USTA #, call 1800-990-8782 to edit. If you use a Team Tennis #, edit your TennisLink profile. Select your affiliations

Enter shipping information for the shirts. This team‟s shirts will all be sent to this address. Click on „Save‟
Order shirts for you and your cocaptain. (Optional)
Click on Register Players, if you are ready to do that. Otherwise, hit Save just to be sure and you are done.

Enter Team Number (555……….) Enter Player‟s USTA #. Must be current through JTT League Season. Enter Player‟s Shirt Size. See next screenshot. Click on „Add More Players‟ to register up to 15 at a time. Click „Submit‟ to checkout.
Difference between ‘Must order’ and ‘May order’ a Shirt Players registering for their first team MUST order a shirt. Shirts are optional IF the player has already registered for a team this year, so it will show that they MAY order a shirt, but it is not required and you could leave the size column blank. Not sure who needs to order a shirt? Leave shirt sizes blank and hit submit. This will refresh the screen and show you.

Confirm that teams are correct and click on „Next‟ If teams are incorrect, select Re-enter
Insert date that the match was played Select players from the drop-down menus Enter score with winning team‟s score first (ex. 8-2)
Select which team won the match Select Next when finished to confirm the scores and finish the score entry
