Final Season Preparation By Bel Air Terps Football

As the summer months tick by and August 1st is rapidly approaching, the Terps are putting the finishing touches on a busy offseason. We will try to cover all those details in this newsletter.

July Full Contact Camp 7/20 – 7/23 The Bel Air Terps will once again be hosting our annual Summer Full Contact Camp. This camp is designed to help football players between the ages of 5 - 14 prepare for the rigors of August in full pads and helmet. This camp is a full contact camp that will feature skills and drills that center around proper techniques for running, blocking and tackling. This camp is administered and staffed by Bel Air Terps coaches and volunteers, but is open to any player regardless of program or league affiliation. Each player registered will receive a camp T-shirt. Cost for this camp is $75 per player. This camp will be held at Tucker Field each night, starting at 6 PM, and running until 8 PM.

Open Parent Meeting Scheduled The Board of Directors is hosting our annual Open Parent Meeting at Tucker Field on

Tuesday, July 28th. The meeting will start promptly at 6:00 PM. We will cover any last minute info before the start of the season, introduce the 2015 Board of Directors, the Head Coaches, and have a brief breakout Q&A for each age group, to answer any other questions that may arise. All Program parents are encouraged to attend.

Concession & Merchandise Managers Needed The Bel Air Terps are in search of several adult volunteers to fill positions as concession stand and merchandise managers for the upcoming 2015 Season. These managers would help our Directors operate both stands on practice nights, and during home games/events on Fridays and Saturdays at Tucker Field. These managers would be in place to help out when the Director is not available at either stand. These candidates would have to adhere to all local health codes, adhere to our cash handling procedures, pass a Background Check, and would need to be approved by the Board of Directors. If you are interested in volunteering as a concession manager, please contact Crystal Poretti [email protected]. If you are interested in volunteering in the merchandise hut, please contact Bridgett Williams at [email protected]. Thank you for your ongoing support!
