May 30th Hiking in Arches National Park, Moab, UT. We’ll ll leave DCC @ 8:00 and hike from 10:30-3:00 (with a break for lunch), drive to GJ for dinner, and then back to DCC around 7:00 (or so). Pack a lunch and water bottle, wear ear good shoes and bring sunscreen (we will be outside hiking around all day, so be prepared). Bring $5 plus extra money for dinner at… (?)
June 4th-9th (Sunday – Friday) Middle School Camp at Four Corners Christian Camp.
June 11th-15th (Sunday – Thursday) I will be gone to the Quarter Circle Circle-Circle Circle Ranch for Elementary Camp.
June 20th Trampolines and Chic-fil-a. a. Off to Get Air in Grand Junction with dinner @ Chic-fil-a. Chic Get Air requires an online waiver to be filled out before jumping. Please go to the Get Air website to fill out this waiver before arriving. We’ll leave DCC @ 2:00 and be home around 7:00. Cost is $20 plus extra $$ for dinner. It is helpful for me to know who is coming so I can plan for drivers.
June 23th—July 1st High School Mission Trip to Jamaica.
July 3rd (Monday) Come hang out for relaxing night with some friends. It’s time for a Movie Night in The Zone. The movie will start at 7:00. We’ll have popcorn, snacks, and drinks. We should be done around 9:00.
July 11th It’s a water day in the park. Come hang out at Legacy Park @ DCC for some outside water games from 3:00-5:30. Water ballons, water guns, and even n Water Balloon Volleyball. Wear clothing that can get wet (sorry ladies, no 2 2-piece piece suits).
July 18th Bowling at Rose Bowl in Montrose. Meet at DCC at 6:00, we will bowl 7:00-9:00 7:00 and be back by 10:00. $3 per game with free shoe rental and extra $$ if you want snacks. Let me know if you are coming so I can have enough drivers.
July 25th Time for a Scavenger Hunt in Grand Junction. We are off to Mesa Mall for a Scavenger Hunt. This event, like most others, requires you to follow directions and be unsupervised in the Mall… … I don’t want anyone getting lost or getting in trouble with the law! :-P : We’ll head out from DCC @ 3:00 and be back around 7:00. Bring $$ to eat in the food court at the mall.
July 28-30 night River Float T Trip rip for High Schoolers only. The cost is $120 and This is a 3-day, 2-night includes boat rental, camping, and food. Spots will fill up fast and we are only taking 12 students. If you are interested, talk to Eric.
August 1st Hiking and swimming in Ouray. We’re hiking the 5-Mile Perimeter Trail T and then going swimming at the Hot Springs pool. This is not a steep hike, but it is long. We’ll leave DCC @ 8:00 0 and get back around 7:00. Make sure you pack water and a lunch to eat while on the trail. We’ll hit the pool after the hike. Prices for the pool are unknown as of now… I’ll have an update after the pool reopens. Please let me know if you’re coming so I can plan for drivers.
