Individual Instruction Basketball Academy This is the sixth year we have offered the individual instruction basketball academy for Williston State College. We are striving to improve the overall quality of basketball in our area and within our youth programs.
When: May 9th—Aug 5th
Individual instruction will be offered in groups of four athletes. If you do not have a group of four, we will assign you to a group based on age and gender. Workouts can go between 1-2 hours in length, and can be up to 1-4 days per week. This is personal preference of the athlete on how frequent they would like to attend. Time slots are available from 8:00am to 8:00pm throughout the week.
**Can start anytime between these dates 8:00am – 8:00pm 1-2 hours slots per day 1-4 days per week per group
Athletes will have direct coaching from Coach Bolstad to develop their basketball skills. Instruction will be very intense and competitive. Athletes should be prepared to be pushed by the coaches in an attempt to achieve maximum performance. They should expect multiple repetitions of drills with the basic skills of ball handling, passing, defending, shooting off screens, shooting off the dribble, and catching and shooting using a shooting machine.
