Few things are more devastating than a natural disaster. It’s hard to find someone, even in our very own church, who is not connected in some way with a life turned upside-down by a disaster event. Although it is difficult to think of people in such need, it is encouraging to know there are Christian brothers and sisters ever ready to provide help and hope. Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief does incredible work ministering to people in seemingly hopeless situations due to natural disasters.

Through the Cooperative Program, which provides funding for TBM Disaster Relief, 140,000 meals were served, and workers were out blessing people every day in 2016. Our church helped make this possible through gifts to the Cooperative Program. Join me in praying for TBM Disaster Relief and the people whose lives have been touched through this ministry.
