Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) and Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) are excited to announce that we are joining forces to hold the fourth annual “Lacrosse for a Cause.” The event, which will take place March 18, 2017 at Centreville High School, will feature dozens of youth lacrosse games to be held over an eight-hour period. Together, we hope to raise $20,000 to directly benefit children’s cancer charity, Special Love. We need your support! Businesses are invited to sponsor this event at the following levels:  PLATINUM: $2,500  GOLD: $1,500  SILVER: $1,000  BRONZE: $250 Sponsors will be recognized at the event, and logos will be included on t-shirts, signage, web advertising and email blasts that go directly to a captive and loyal audience of more than 1,000 members. CYA Lacrosse and SYA Lacrosse are local, volunteer, non-profit youth sports organizations that serve the youth of Western Fairfax County. Proceeds beyond the $20,000 for Special Love for Children with Cancer (http://specialove.org/) will be used to improve player safety through the purchase of updated equipment and the subsidization of our FREE training programs. Funds will also help keep costs low in order to ensure youth sport programs are accessible to every household in Western Fairfax. This year’s charity was selected by one of SYA’s own Lady Warriors. “It was our player’s idea to select Special Love as our 2017 fundraising recipient after she attended the charity’s ‘Camp Fantastic’ last summer,” explains Scott Stewart, SYA Lacrosse Vice Commissioner. “Let’s show our support for all of our kids by donating to this worthy cause.” For more information, contact CYA Lacrosse at [email protected] or visit http://www.lax4acause.org/.
