SPEND THE DAY WITH YOUR STATE CHAMPS! The Friends of Lakota West Basketball has scheduled its 21st Annual Lakota West Girls Basketball Golf Outing fundraiser. The outing will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 at Sharon Woods Golf Course beginning at 11:00 am with a wave start. Each year the sports programs at Lakota West are allowed to conduct a limited number of fundraisers to raise money to subsidize the shrinking budgets available through the school. In the past, funds raised through these events have totaled more than $200,000 to support the Lakota West Girls’ Basketball programs including Lakota Plains and Lakota Ridge Junior High Schools. With local business and community support we have been able to reduce player fees by over 60%, purchase equipment, a sound system, and two portable goals, secure charter busing, fund summer team trips and made various other improvements. In order to continue improvements and keep costs low we need your help. There are several sponsorship opportunities available for this event. They include: Title Sponsor, Exclusive Hole sponsor, Dining Table Sponsor, Game On Sponsor, and Partial Hole Sponsor. We will have a raffle where you can donate an item or service. You also have the opportunity to have your business cards distributed to each person who attends the event. All donations are taxdeductible.
