I agree to the following guidelines:
1. Be a current member of the Carpinteria Arts Center. 2. Artists are encouraged to setup their areas on Friday, October 2nd, between 9 am and 1 pm. You can enter through the alley behind the Arts Center using the back gate. The gate will be open at 8 am on Saturday and Sunday. The Bazaar area will be locked, but please do not leave your inventory, just the setup. The gallery will be closed to the public on Friday and inventory can be stored inside the building overnight. Have booth ready by 9:30 on Saturday, October 3rd, and Sunday, October 4th mornings. The Bazaar hours are Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. No early leaving please.
3. Sites will be assigned and a map will be provided. 4. We want to encourage an “Open-Bazaar” type of feel for this event. Pop-up tents will not be allowed. It is suggested that you bring more than 1 umbrella and stand.
5. All works of art are on the premises at the artist’s risk. All reasonable care will be taken to insure their safety, but the Carpinteria Arts Center will not be responsible in any way for loss or damage. I agree to all conditions and rules listed by the CVAC. I shall give 20% of gross profit or $100.00, whatever is greater, to CVAC as a donation. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will automatically increase the gross profit to 50% or $150.00 as a donation to CVAC.
