The AXA Research Fund supports researchers committed to improving people’s life by carrying out cutting-edge and innovative research dealing with global societal challenges related to Life & Health, Data & Technology, Climate & Environment, and Economics & Insurance. The AXA Chair scheme intends to make a step change in the development of the field of research within the host institution through the recruitment of a world-class researcher from another institution for either a longterm appointment (AXA Permanent Chair position) or a series of consecutive short-term appointments (AXA Successional Chair position). ➢ Research Program: fully compliant with ethics, independence of academic research and strong engagement with society. ➢ Eligible countries: Institutions located within countries where the AXA Group has insurance operations are eligible for funding. ➢ Duration: for an initial period of 5 years with potential renewal up to 5 years upon review and advanced research plans.
