Note: the pattern states ½ yard Velcro. I use a Sew in Magnet Closure, and you will still need the Velcro for the inside tabs of the bag. 1 – Sew in Magnet Closure (if not use Velcro) 1 – 2” Metal Ring (try to get the inside diameter of the ring as close to 2” as possible or large) or you can use large grommet Soft and Stable- 1/4 yard of Soft and Stable - need a piece that is cut at least 12” x 21”. ( Note the pattern has a ½ yard of Soft & Stable that is supposed to be used for the outside and inside of the bag and for the straps….I feel this makes the bag bulker and we will use fusible fleece in those area). We will only use the Soft and Stable for the outside fabric of your bag……all other items listed under the Cutting Directions under Soft and Stable will be cut from fusible fleece) Fusible Fleece – 46” wide x 16” long (for the inside fabric and the straps, handle, etc – do not cut from Soft and Stable) Filing for Pin Cushion if you wish to make your bag with the pin cushion 4 - Beatle Bag Inserts (included with pattern #186) TOOLS: Sewing Machine with these pressure feet: 1/4” foot (if you do not have a ¼” foot, have a way to mark ¼” on your machine.
