Pattern: Summer Lovin’ by Claudia Dinnell Fabric/Supplies needed: 2 yard of white on white or tone on tone using white fabric only 1 yard inner border and sashing fabric 4 yards fusible woven interfacing by OESD or Shape Flex 101 by Pellon 2 yards outer border fabric ¾ yard binding 4 yards backing 72” x 72” batting 5 yards light to medium weight tear away stabilizer 5 yards Polymesh cutaway stabilizer (20” wide) Temporary adhesive spray Removable fabric marking pen (thin tip/do not use air erasable) Embroidery needles 80/12 and 90/14 sharp Terial magic starch 20½” square ruler (optional but recommended) 50 wt. cotton thread matching the fabric for piecing USB drive that wor ks with your embroider y machine Bring to class: Sewing machine with power cord and foot control, cleaned and in good working order with a new needle Embroidery module with minimum hoop 8” wide x 12” high All embroidery hoops must have grids/template Basic embroidery kit including small double curved scissors, long straight pointy tweezers, snag nab it, wonder clips (4) to hold embroidery out of the way Basic sewing kit to include scissors, pins, long straight ruler Rotary cutter with a good blade, mat for use with rotary cutting tool and ruler By the Way: It is important to have all your materials before class begins and have your sewing machine set up and ready to sew. Our teachers make every effort to start on time and we want you to get full benefit of the class experience.
Classes must be paid for at time of registration. One week cancellation notice required to refund or credit fees. No refunds for visiting teachers. Materials list is provided at time of registration. All brands of sewing machines and sergers are welcome in our classes (except Machine Mastery). As a courtesy to others, please turn off cell phones during class. No kids in adult classes; no adults in kids classes. Loaner machines are available for $10.00 rental fee at time of registration. You may bring your lunch (we have a refrigerator) or we will take lunch orders for a local restaurant at your expense. We do our best to make everyone happy but we’re all on different “thermostats”. You may want to consider bringing clothing layers which you can put on or take off to keep comfortable. Label all your equipment (rulers, scissors) to avoid mix ups.
