The BIC® Community Champions Recycling Contest is open to participating BIC® Community Champion locations (i.e. those acting as public locations and appearing on the interactive map) on the Writing Instruments Recycling Programme in the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Employees and family of BIC® and TerraCycle, their agents or anyone connected to the contest are precluded from taking part.

2. The contest will be open from 9am on 11th of April 2016 to 12pm on 30th of June 2016 (“Promotion Period”).

3. Only Writing Instruments will be accepted and counted, and only shipments of 15kg (approximately 1,500 writing instruments) or more will qualify in the contest. Please refer to the attached leaflet to see all items accepted

4. To enter the BIC® Community Champions Recycling Contest, participants must collect used Writing Instruments and send them to TerraCycle using the freepost UPS address label they can find and print by logging onto their TerraCycle account at terracycle.co.uk.

5. Winners will be determined by absolute collection numbers within the contest timelines outlined in point 2 above. The school who has sent in the largest amount of kilos of Writing Instruments throughout the contest period (outlined in point 2) wins the contest (writing instruments are calculated on the basis of an average unit weight of 10g per unit). To participate in the monthly sweepstake portion of the promotion, collectors must have sent in at least one shipment of writing instruments at a minimum of 15kg during the promotional period. Community Champions who send in a shipment of writing instruments at a minimum of 15kg to TerraCycle UK in a certain month during the aforementioned contest period will receive one entry into the sweepstake portion of the promotion in that particular month. By sending in additional shipments of minimum 15kg of writing instruments, members receive additional entries into the sweepstake that particular month.
