Crayola® Crayons!
We launched our new crayon website on Tues., Sept. 2, 2013. We have had over 900 visits and hits from all over the United States and 22 Countries.
If you have been following “designs by tana” for the last year, you may already know that we are converting all of our patterns to our newest “Hot Blend” crayon techniques.
we are in the house, we are very colorful and always have fun! We hope you will continue to color with us as we continue to grow.
Our mission is to reach out to everyone who loves Crayola crayons as much as we do. Our studio is located in Crowley, Texas. We offer lots of classes, workshops, and monthly social clubs.
If you have seen us at quilt shows or if we have visited your guild for a program or a class, you have seen our work and technique.
We carry Crayola Crayons from individual crayons to boxes, art supplies, fabrics to color on, and patterns.
We are changing the way we do business. We have a new look and we now only offer Crayon Classes and Programs.
All of our patterns are drawn by Tana Mueller, the crayon design artist and owner. You may know Tana and her Color Team as the “Crayon Ladies.” You know when

H AL LOW E E N B LO C K O F T HE M O N T H S Fall has finally arrived and it is our favorite time of year. This is the beginning of another beautiful season. As the leaves change into warm rich colors and the weather becomes a few degrees color, everyone begins to come inside to start their next crayon project or complete a crayon project they have been working on.

C LU B U PDATE S Texas Stars meet each Wed. to work on their crayon or quilt projects. Monthly Fee: $25.00 Anyone can join. Texas Bonnet Belles meet each Fri. to work on their projects. Club is currently full. Pam’s Hand Embroidery Club meets on the second Thurs. of each month for hand embroidery. Bring your own project or Pam will be glad to start you on a new one. Monthly Fee: $10.00
Cotton Pickin’ Quilters meet on the third Tues. of each month. This social network of quilters and crayon enthusiast continue to grow. We have members from all over. Members do not have to attend monthly meetings.
Dinner: Salad bar, baked potato bar, BBQ and lot’s of desserts.
Annual Fee: $35.00
Note: Date subject to change if the Tarrant County Elections needs the space for run-off elections. We’ll keep you posted. Alternative date is Wed. Dec. 17.
5th Annual “Ho Down” This is our annual Christmas Party. Save the date!
We’ll ask our Crowley Fire Department to join us. Watch for an email for additional details in November.

2 0 1 3 C O MMU N I T Y Q U ILT U P DAT E This year our community baby quilt was sponsored by Quiltin’ N Texas. Artwork fabric and batting was provided for the project. Members purchased border and backing fabric. Early in the year we received permission from Dalmatian Press to use their coloring books for the crayon artwork blocks.
Members used the coloring book pages to create a simple 4 block community quilt. Quilts were turned in September. Approximately 45 community baby quilts have been received. The quality control team is preparing and packaging the quilts for distribution to the Crowley Fire Department in December.
Everyone participating did a great job. The children of the community of Crowley will be so excited when they receive a colored quilt made just for them. A colorful Thank you for helping warm the hearts of a child. Your kindness will bring great joy.
