2CC - Two Crossed Clusters: skip 1 st, into next st work *[yo, insert hook, yo, draw loop through] twice, yo, draw through all 5 loops on hook, rep from * into st just skipped, working over previous cluster.
dc - Double Crochet
Pattern Instructions Foundation Chain: Multiples of 8 + 4 (add 1 for base chain) Row 1: (right side) Skip 2 ch (count as 1sc), 1sc into next and each ch to end, turn. Row 2: 3ch (count as 1dc), skip 1 st, *2CC over next 2 sts, 1 dc into each of next 6 sts, rep from * to last 3 sts, 2CC over next 2 sts, 1dc into tch, turn. Row 3: 1ch (counts as 1sc), skip 1 st, 1sc into next and each st to end, working last st into top of tch, turn. Row 4: 3ch (counts as 1 dc), skip 1 st, 1dc into each of next 4 sts, *2CC over next 2 sts, 1dc into each of the next 6sts; rep from * to last 7sts, 2 CC over next 2sts, 1 dc into each of last 5 sts, working last st into tch, turn.
