SPRING BALL - May 5th, 2012
Major Mets visit UCLA On Sunday April 29th, the Major Mets attended the UCLA versus Stanford game at Jackie Robinson Stadium as part of the Future Bruins program. Manager Stephen Stamer set up the trip
to the game for the team. The team got to go down on the field and take part in the pregame and National Anthem with the entire UCLA baseball team. The Major Mets then got to enjoy the game with their teammates. Unfortunately the Bruins were not able to handle the 7th ranked Stanford Cardinals losing by a score of 7-2.

[email protected] Stump the Ump… (Answer) Situation: Right – Rule: 2.00 STRIKE—A strike is a judgment by the umpire as to whether the batter attempted to strike the ball. Breaking the wrists, or the barrel of the bat crossing the plate are simply guides to making the judgment of an attempt, these are not rules or considered automatic strikes.
