The Eaton Industrial Rail Park Grand Opening is an historic occasion celebrating the transformation of a 40+ year brownfield Sugar Beet Factory, into a productive, state-of-the-art, regional industrial rail park in Eaton, Colorado. Hosted by the Town of Eaton, Colorado, and Omaha Track, Inc., this event is an opportunity to take a behind the scenes look at an intermodal transportation site, resulting from a successful brownfield redevelopment. Meet the people behind the organizations who made this project a reality. Come hear the principals talk about the planning, remediation and redevelopment of the former sugar beet factory, including: Omaha Track, Inc., the industrial rail park developer/owner Union Pacific Railroad representatives U.S. Environmental Protection Agency representatives Learn about future Eaton Industrial Rail Park plans, and the opportunities for intermodal transportation at this new facility.
