President’s Message The “Meet Your Neighbor” activity for Majestic Oaks residents was rescheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2017 and will take place at the flag pole area on 54th Court. It will begin at 2:00 PM and there will be hamburgers, hot dogs, condiments and water. If you would like to attend, please notify Lou Bartolomeo at 352-871-3484. Lou could also use some help with set up and cooking, so if you can help, please let Lou know. The Majestic Oaks Annual Yard Sale, in conjunction with Bent Tree, will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. If needed, the rain date will be Saturday, October 14, 2017. If you post signs to direct people to your property, please remember to remove the signs as quickly as possible following the sale. The Majestic Oaks Homeowners Association Annual Meeting / Election will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Crossroads Church, 8070 SW 60th Avenue, Ocala, Florida. An election committee is needed for the election process. You do not need to have experience in the election process as there are people who do have this experience and will help. If you are interested In helping, please contact Ann Ivone, Treasurer at 352-237-6259. Majestic Oaks will have 5 director positions up for election to the Board of Directors; 3 positions have a 2 year term and 2 positions are for a one year term. As of the September 14, 2017 Majestic Oaks Homeowners meeting, there are six candidates running for the Board of Directors: Lou Bartolomeo, A.J. Bola, Bob Gordon, Tony Ivone, Tony Lepordo and Bob Watson. If there are any other homeowners wishing to run for the Board of Directions, please prepare a brief Bio and submit it to Mr. Bob Watson, Secretary, no later than October 5, 2017. Majestic Oaks is in need of some good community minded people to share a little of their time and their talents for the betterment of the entire community. If you have some extra time, are retired or just looking for a way to help your community continue to move forward, please consider stepping forward to be a part of the Board of Directors. Some homeowners have stated they didn’t know about the official web site. You can find information for Board Members and all the necessary documents you need, as well as Minutes, Financial Reports and Special Notices at www.majesticoaksfl.com .
