In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Kiwanis Club of Amityville will sponsor a “Field of Honor”. This field of American Flags will recognize and show honor to Past & Present Veterans who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom. The “Field of Honor” flag will consist of a 3 x 5 ft. flag mounted on an 8ft pole and placed in precision rows on the front lawn of the Amityville Memorial High School on Merrick Rd. Your flag will have a custom printed Yellow Ribbon personalized with your dedication.
Set up: Sunday November 1, 2009 9am Take Down: Sunday November 29, 2009 10am Location: Amityville Memorial High School Cost: $25 per flag Limit of 250 flags - Order Early Your Flag will be available as your memento on Nov 29, 2009 once the “Field” has been dismantled
