LAB EXERCISE – Create GAP Report for Agronomy Sales – Dry and Liquid Fertilizer Your Agronomy manager wants a recap of Fertilizer Sales by customer name. Choose the date range beginning January 2015 ending May 2015. Include products only in these Fine Line Codes: HC FERT DRY BULK and HC FERT LIQ BULK
The columns need to be in the following order: LIQUID FERT LBS – LIQUID FERT AMT – DRY FERT LBS – DRY FERT AMT – TOTAL DOLLARS
1. CREATE THE REPORT NAME From Management Tools – GAP Report – click Create a New Report using the following format: If your User ID is named CLASSJ, call your report CLASSJ-AG, then click Apply.
2. ADD THE CATEGORIES Click Add a Category. Insert the name of the first column 1-LIQ FERT LBS Here are the rules when making a new Category Name: a) 15 characters maximum – upper/lower case and numbers b) Spaces, periods, or dashes may be used c) NO SYMBOLS - (@ # $ % ¢ & * ( ) " ' ! < ?/ \ | { } ¦ ¬ ~) Since only Accounts Receivable history will be used in this example – mark Sales, then click Apply.
3. DEFINE LOCATIONS / DEPARTMENTS / FINE LINE CODES / ITEMS(optional) Data choices

2‐LIQ FERT AMT
3‐DRY FERT LBS
4‐DRY FERT AMT
