The Race Against Bullying National Bullying Prevention Month is a nationwide campaign founded in 2006 by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center. The campaign is held during the month of October and unites communities around the world to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention. This campaign has grown from an initial week-long event to a worldwide effort with thousands of individuals participating in multiple activities throughout October. Hundreds of schools, major corporations, and many celebrities have joined the movement. Mrs. Benke is a sponsor for the MacArthur Anti-bullying club. “We’re here to give kids a safe place if they need help with a bullying problem,” Mrs. Benke said. This is the first year MacArthur has had a anti-bullying club thanks to leadership for organizing it. They are small right now but are slowly growing. Wayrill Vargas Chris Dixon
