The  Rookie  of  the  Year  Award   The  Rookie  of  the  Year  Award  celebrates  an  administrative  assistant  or  receptionist,  new   to  the  administrative  profession  (career  as  an  admin  started  less  than  3  years  ago),  who   has  demonstrated  the  greatest  potential  to  excel.  This  award  honors  professionals  that   are  starting  their  career  as  an  administrative  professional,  have  reentered  the  workforce   as  an  admin  or  made  a  career  change  to  an  administrative  role.       1. When  did  this  administrative  professional  begin  his  or  her  career  as  an  admin?   (Please  list  month  and  year)     2. What  did  this  administrative  professional  do  prior  to  their  career  as  an  admin?     3. Please  provide  any  specific  examples  that  help  support  this  candidate’s  Rookie  of   the  Year  nomination.     The  Big  Idea  Award     The  Big  Idea  Award  celebrates  the  administrative  professional  that  came  up  with  an  idea   that  had  a  considerable  impact  on  a  company  such  as  (but  not  limited  to)  increased   revenue,  reduced  costs,  improved  operations,  customer  retention,  etc.  within  the  last  3   years.  The  Big  Idea  Award  was  created  to  encourage  and  inspire  administrative   professionals  to  communicate  their  ideas  and  ingenuity  to  senior  executives  within  their   organization.       1. Describe  the  idea  that  was  presented  to  your  company  by  this  administrative   professional.       2. What  problem  did  this  idea  help  solve?     3. Please  describe  the  overall  impact  this  idea  had  on  the  organization.  Please   provide  measurable  results  where  possible.  For  example,  the  idea  generated  xx   in  revenue,  saved  the  company  xx  dollars,  etc.       The  Community  Champion  Award   The  Community  Champion  Award  is  awarded  to  the  administrative  professional  who   best  demonstrates  a  commitment  to  serving  others  in  their  community  and  works   internally  to  inspire  employee  volunteerism,  community  service  and  good  corporate   citizenship.       1. How  has  this  nominee  demonstrated  a  passion  for  volunteerism  and  community   service?

Describe  how  this  administrative  professional  dedicates  extra  time  to  teach,   train,  guide  or  serve  as  a  resource  to  fellow  admins.       The  Achiever  Award   The  Achiever  Award  recognizes  the  admin  that  successfully  managed  and  completed  a   significant  project  that  had  a  positive  company-­‐wide  impact.  For  examples,  projects  such   as  office  relocations,  corporate  events  and  activities,  software  implementations  or   conversions  and  reorganizations  or  rebrands  would  be  among  examples  of  Achiever   Award  worthy  nominations.       1. Please  describe  the  project,  assignment  or  scope  of  work  that  the  administrative   professional  was  given  and  what  the  organization  was  trying  to  accomplish   through  this  project.     2. The  Spirit  Award   The  Spirit  Award  celebrates  the  administrative  professional  that  consistently  exhibits  a   positive,  spirited  outlook  and  has  good  energy  that  colleagues  and  vendors  alike  find   contagious  and  uplifting.  This  is  the  person  that  people  are  drawn  to  during  good  days   and  bad,  for  an  energy  boost,  pep  talk  or  happy  fix.       1. Please  describe  this  administrative  professional’s  overall  demeanor.     2. How  does  this  administrative  professional’s  positive  spirit  impact  coworkers  and   the  organization  as  a  whole?  Please  provide  specific  examples.       3. How  long  has  this  administrative  professional  been  at  their  current  company?   Note:  To  be  eligible  for  this  award,  your  nominee  must  have  10  years  or  more  of   service  to  their  current  organization  or  executive.       2. Please  provide  any  specific  examples  or  anecdotes  that  best  demonstrate  this   admin’s  tireless  commitment  and  dedication  to  their  organizations  or  executives.       The  Above  the  Call  Receptionist  Award   The  Above  the  Call  Receptionist  Award  honors  the  RECEPTIONIST  that  goes  above  and   beyond  the  call  in  delivering  an  exceptional  first  impression  and  serves  internal  and   external  customers  with  professionalism,  enthusiasm  and  care,  leaving  a  lasting   impression  with  all  they  come  into  contact  with.  (*NOTE:  Nominee  must  spend  50%+  on   average  of  their  time  daily  fielding/handling  phone  calls  in  order  to  qualify  for  this   award.)     1.
