Intumescent Materials for PFP & Cryogenic Spill Protection (CSP) Q Epoxy resin intumescents provide PFP for offshore and onshore structures. Q Syntactic insulator technology allows intumescents to be applied to structures with higher operating temperatures. Q Duplex systems provide CSP, PFP and corrosion protection.
PFP, fully certified and tested to the highest international standards. All FIRETEX® materials are independently tested, verified and certified to the most stringent and up to date international standards, with full type approval from class organisations such as ABS, Lloyd’s Register and DNV. Independently tested on structural steel, the FIRETEX® hydrocarbon series has been tested to ISO 834, UL1709 (Rapid Rise Fire Test), and IMO 794(18) (decks and bulkheads), and is fully compliant with NORSOK M-501 and ISO 20340.
