MULTICAL® 21 / flowIQ® 2101 – the most cost-effective solution for water metering Ultrasonic water meter MULTICAL® 21 / flowIQ® 2101 ensures that the consumption of every single liter of water is accurately registered and billed. Tamper-proof to prevent fraud, and with no moving parts, the meter is resistant to typical wear and tear, unlike a mechanical meter. Therefore, throughout its entire lifetime, the water meter sustains the highly accurate readings even at ultra-low starting flows. Smart and strong design The vacuum sealing of the meter housing and the IP68 approval enables installation in meter pits with no risk of moisture and condensation. The meter comes with integrated radio transmission, that allows for the safe and rapid capture of remotely read data in semi-automatic and automatic meter reading solutions - either by ‘drive-by’ or via a network – which makes it easy and convenient for the metering management, and for a sustained bottom line revenue. Water metering without waste Monitoring of water consumption is also to be environmentally conscious. Not only because you pay attention to the amount of water consumed, but also because other important elements are in consideration. The environmental report, Carbon Footprint, documents the meter’s high reusability and low environmental impact. Meter housing and measuring tube are made of 100% lead-free composite. The water meter measures water and meter temperatures respectively. The measurements can be used to monitor the installation and to give an indication of the quality of the water when it reaches the consumer. Both temperatures are logged in the daily and monthly records. Another key advantage of MULTICAL® 21 / flowIQ® 2101 is leak, burst, reverse flow and tamper detection. This is a significant driver to minimize the loss of water – a benefit for the environment and your economy.

As the meter has no moving parts, and therefore not subject to wear and tear, it is resistant to impurities in drinking water. By contrast to a traditional meter, the electronic ultrasonic meter operates with low start flow (low-flow cut-off) during the entire life of the meter. Longevity of water meter (including up to 16 years’ battery life) combined with minimum operating costs, ensures the most costeffective solution.
