Egg Hunt
When: Earth Day | April 22, 2017 @10:00 AM Join your community in an effort to beautify Vineyard’s lakeshore! Cleanup supplies will be provided, as well as refreshments and free event t-shirts to the first 200 people! Register by April 14th! Every participant must sign a waiver.
When: April 15, 2017 @10 AM Where: Gammon Park Join us for the very popular annual Vineyard Egg Hunt! There will be areas for each age group and we will start promptly at 10 AM! Remember to bring your baskets!

Sheriff’s Department Outdoor activities are increasing as the weather warms up. With cars parked on both sides of the street, it makes it difficult to see children when driving through the neighborhoods. Parents, please spend a few minutes with your children to talk about a few things... • Safe practices for crossing the street • Wear a helmet when riding bikes, scooters, and skateboards • Safety around construction areas Please report any suspicious activity to the Utah County Sheriff’s Department at 801-794-3970.
Freedom Prep Movie on the Lawn When: April 28, 2017 @7:30 PM | Movie @8:30 PM Join Vineyard at Freedom Prep for Disney’s Moana movie on the lawn with food trucks! Enjoy a $1 voucher provided by the city for the food trucks at the event!
REQUIREMENTS: 18 years old | U.S. Citizen |Registered Voter Resident of Vineyard for 12 consecutive months prior to the General Election Please be aware that any mentally incompetent person, any person convicted of a felony, or any person convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise may not hold office in this state until the right to vote or hold elective office is restored as provided by statute. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
• Interested parties may declare candidacy
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. between June 1 and June 7 at the Vineyard City Recorder’s Office.
• If more than two candidates file for each
position, a primary election will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

Will Teach for Food The first school district in the Vineyard area came in about 1883. Called the Provo Bench School District No. 18, it had a total budget of $780. Rather than receiving a paycheck, teachers were paid in potatoes, flour, lumber or other goods. Students were taught and orally tested on practical skills, such as shoeing horses and planting crops.
