Referral Credit
We are now offering a $300 referral credit to any Resident who refers a future Resident to Waterford. If your referral signs a lease with Waterford, we will give you a $300 concession off your next month’s rent. __________________________________________
Parking Decals
As a courtesy to our residents, we have designated certain parking spaces for residents use only. You must have a decal on your car to park in the “Decal Only” spaces throughout the community. Please ensure your visitors are aware of this policy. There are plenty of unmarked spaces for your guest to use. If you are a resident and purchased a new vehicle please come to the Rental Office with your registration and we will issue you a new sticker. Please place the sticker on your rear window bottom left. Motorcycles will need a parking decal, as well as a kick plate.

Back to School Virginia Beach public schools’ semester starts September 3rd, 2013. The school bus stop for Waterford students is at the front of our community on Shore Drive. When the school bus makes a stop to pick-up and drop-off the children, you must stop while the lights are flashing and the stop sign is out. Please be extra careful as the school year begins – we want to ensure the safety of the children by obeying this law. Please do not wait in your vehicle near the bus stop since there is no designated parking at the entrance or exit. We hope all students have a safe and exciting school year! Waterford asks that all our little ghouls and goblins follow the rules laid out by Virginia Beach police when trick-or-treating. These limit trick-or-treating to children ages 12 & under and set a curfew of 8 p.m. If you would like to hand out candy, Waterford has door hangers to let trick-or-treaters know they can stop there!
Labor Day marks the last day to enjoy our saltwater swimming pool. The pool will be closed as of Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Thank you for a great season! __________________________________________

Double-Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake Ingredients:
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 eggs 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 pinch ground cloves 1 pinch ground nutmeg 1/2 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
Directions: 1.) Preheat oven to 325 degrees F 2.) In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Blend in eggs one at a time. Remove 1 cup of batter and spread into bottom of crust; set aside. 3.) Add pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg to the remaining batter and stir gently until well blended. Carefully spread over the batter in the crust. 4.) Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until center is almost set. 5.) Allow to cool, then refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight. Cover with whipped topping before serving.
