Initiation: Fall New Member Education Class 2013 This fall, our chapter welcomed 12 beautiful girls who range in ages, talents, and personalities. Bid Day was held on September 15th. This New Member Education Class was initiated on November 1st. Ever since Bid Day, they have grown super close to all members and created special memories together.

Ultra Violet Gala This year was the first year to which we held a large banquet dinner to raise money for the Ultra Violet Campaign. This event was held on Saturday, November 16th. Thanks to the professional planning by Paige Ivey, it was a great turn out with raffles and delicious food.
Upcoming Events Formal Recruitment Starting February 12th and lasting through Sunday the 16th, which will be Bid Day.
Greek Week Planning on kicking butt this year! Announcements will be made as to any Alumnae Events that week before Greek Week in April.
Mother’s Day Brunch Last year’s was a success so it’s on the agenda for May again this year.
Homecoming Hotties This Homecoming Sigma Kappa was happy to announce that we had two Kappas in the Homecoming Court. Sarah Skrocki and Ashley Werst represented not only Sigma Kappa but all the other well-rounded campus activities they have been a part of at Albright College.
*Formal Recruitment 2014 News* As formally posted on the Facebook Alumni Page, this year Skit Night will be open to Alumni to return instead of on Preference Night due to the sacredness of the evening and sadly the room constraints that we are allowed for recruitment. Anyone and everyone are still encouraged to come to the “lock in” after Preference Night! Skit Night has always been the BEST and most energetic night and the sisters of Theta Theta would LOVE for you to be a part of that! Scream, stomp and act crazy to make the 178 potential new members (signed up for 2014) want SIGMA KAPPA! Attire: Black letters/Black Sigma Kappa Shirt and jeans (contact Christina Daniels if you need one) Date: February 14th ***Time and location will be posted as soon as we know! Hope to see you all that night!
New President of Alumni Relations: Hi Sisters, I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself as now I am the new VPAR. I am a sophomore pursuing my Business Administration degree at Albright College. I joined Sigma Kappa this past spring and am so happy to be able to take an important position and help the sorority that is already so much a part of my life. In Sigma Love, Sister Anna Keens
