Journey out of the Killing Fields of Cambodia With Lon and Peter Chann Special Guests: Navy and Ly Chann Sunday May 28 at 7 pm
North Park is home to Lon and Peter Chann, and their story of coming to Canada from the refugee camps of Thailand after having escaped Cambodia’s Killing Fields. Lon has recently returned from Cambodia and an opportunity to learn about the important work that Peter’s sister Navy is doing there. Navy and her husband Ly lead a dynamic Church Planting and Holistic Development work of training leaders for future generations. Navy and Ly started an organization known as the Genesis Foundation, where hundreds of indigenous Cambodians are learning the skills necessary to create sustainable holistic impact. This is an excellent opportunity to meet Navy and Ly and to learn how they lead out among their own people. North Park’s commitment to indigenous leadership inspires us to come alongside skilled and thoughtful individuals such as Navy and Ly. Lon and Peter are leading out in helping North Park learn about the challenges facing the people of Cambodia. Join us to understand the story of the Killing Fields and the hope that Genesis Foundation is bringing. Join us on Sunday May 28 at 7 pm. Let us know you are coming by contacting Lon at
