Teaching Assistant Required Autumn 2017 NJC Scale 3, Point 14-17: £9.94-£10.45 per hour / £12,628-£13,282pa (subject to experience and qualifications)
Term Time Only, 27.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 2.45pm, Term Time To be successful you must:
Have good numeracy/literacy skills.
Work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher.
Supervise and support students, ensuring their safety and access to learning.
Establish good relationships with students, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.
Encourage students to interact with others and engaging in activities led by the teacher.
Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
