CAMP DIRECTOR MARK JOHNSON Mark Johnson is in his 14th season of directing the Fort Hays State University men’s basketball program after being named head coach on July 13, 2001. Johnson has led the Tigers to a 268-114 record over the past 13 seasons and 6 NCAA tournament berths. Coach Johnson’s camps provide quality teaching of fundamentals, teamplay and an opportunity for every individual to improve. Most importantly, Coach Johnson’s camps provide an opportunity to learn while having fun.

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES Complete the application form in this brochure and return it to the address printed on the back of this brochure. Enclose either a deposit of $50.00 or the total amount of the camp fee. If you send a deposit, be sure to indicate if you will be staying with us at McMindes Hall (resident camper) or if you will be commuting daily (commuter camper).

REGISTRATION Registration will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 31. Registration will take place at McMindes Hall. Camp will dismiss at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3.

CAMP FEATURES Individual instruction and drill Campers will have the opportunity to play in spacious Gross Memorial Coliseum. The 7,000-seat arena was established in 1973. Four regulation indoor courts will also be used for instruction.

Overnight camper — $270.00. Day camper — $190.00. A deposit of $50.00 or the full amount is due with each application. Balance is due at registration.

LETTER FROM COACH Dear Camper, Please join us this summer at the 2015 FHSU Tiger Basketball Camp. We take pride in providing you with this great opportunity to participate in a fun-filled week of individual instruction, game play, and skills contests. Our top-notch staff at FHSU will be joined by a large and excellent group of college and high school coaches to provide you with a VERY professional learning experience. Daily skills development stations will emphasize practice techniques for every facet of the game — both offensively and defensively. Your team skills will be enhanced through numerous league games and contests. I am confident our basketball camp will afford you the knowledge of how to become a more successful basketball player, while enjoying the fun and friendship on a great campus.
