Tiki -Taka Team Camp - 2016 Typical Curriculum Day 1 Technique  Positional Possession Play 1: - 3vs3+2 (specific to the team’s system of play) Principles of Defense 1  Phase 1: How to build up from the back - All Players position when the team gets Goal kick or restart. - All players position when the Goal keeper has a ball on hand - How to use Goal keeper and get out of pressure when there is high pressure on team defensive third,

Day 2 Technique  Positional Possession Play 2: - 4v4+3 (specific to the team’s system of play) Principle of Defense 2 - Transition from we to them  Phase 2 - possession to get organized offensively -possession to create chances (through passing, dribbling, combining passes, crosses)

Day 3 Technique  -Positional Possession Play 3: 5v5+5 (specific to the team’s system of play) Principle of Attack 1 - Transition from we have the ball to they have the ball - Transition from they have the ball to we have the ball  Phase 3: Creating chances

Day 4 Technique  -Positional possession play 4; 7v7+2 (specific to the team’s system of play)

Principle of Attack 2 - Transition from we have the ball to they have the ball - Transition from they have the ball to we have the ball  Phase 4 - Finishing

Day 5 Technique - summarize and Integrate all the 4 positional possession play and interpret it in game situation (specific to each system of play and specific to 9v9 or 11vs11) -Apply principles of play in a game situation (defending and attacking) - Summarize and apply four moment of the game on a game situation (when we have the ball, they have the ball, transition from we to they, transition from they to we)

 Important Notes:  All of the five days’ techniques are related to the specific day’s sessions and can be modified on the performance level of the players and teams involved. 

The detailed session plan will be sent out for team coaches and summer camp coaches a week before the camp.



Team coaches are encouraged to communicate with Sac United staff prior to the camp to customize the curriculum for the attending team and maximize the benefit of the camp to the team.
